Welcome to JK Stump Grinding

My name is Jason Kennett, I started in the stump grinding industry in 1986. Since then, I have built JK Stump Grinding into a specialist stump removal company dedicated solely to professional stump grinding.

Unlike many companies, we do not carry out tree surgery. Our focus is entirely on the safe, efficient removal of tree stumps using a range of specialist stump grinding machines. From the smallest domestic stump with narrow garden access to large-scale commercial and site clearance projects, we have the right equipment and experience to complete the job with minimal disruption.

Our fleet of machines allows us to access areas that many larger machines simply cannot reach, while also providing the power needed for large stumps and commercial contracts. Whether you’re a homeowner, landscaper, builder, local authority or commercial client, you can rely on a professional, tidy and reliable service. We operate with a £5 Million public liability insurance for your peace of mind.

We’re proud to have earned over 100 five-star Google reviews, reflecting our commitment to quality workmanship, excellent customer service and reliability.
We regularly work for:

Over the years we have built up a large client base some of which include the following:
MOD, English Heritage, Local and parish councils, Kent County Council, London Borough Councils, Property Developers, Golf Clubs, Schools, Kelsey Farms and many private customers.
